Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Lumbini Garden Lodge, I found the location to be ideal, nestled right next to the enchanting Lumbini Development zone. The room I occupied was quite spacious, equipped with air conditioning, a comfortable seating area, and even a flat-screen TV that added to our comfort. The WiFi connection held strong throughout our stay, allowing me to stay connected for both business and leisure - a true asset for any tea plantation owner like myself. The staff's eagerness to assist was particularly commendable, and they promptly addressed any issues I raised during my stay, showcasing a level of care I'd value anywhere in my travels. Although the breakfast options were a bit limited due to low occupancy, the continental breakfast we received was generous and delicious, perfect for fueling us before exploring the area's lush landscapes. I must mention, however, that room service prices felt high for the portions, especially after I enjoyed local dining experiences elsewhere. With outdoor adventures like hiking and cycling at our doorstep, Lumbini Garden Lodge undoubtedly offers a tranquil retreat steeped in Sri Lankan culture, making it a place I'd consider returning to for business and leisure alike. I found great value, a warm atmosphere, and the promise of further improvements upon my next visit.
